Healing Touch & The Art of Assisting Immersion

With Sybil Nance, E-RYT 200, CYT 800 HR, Instructor Yoga Club Teacher Training

Sybil has taught healing touch adjustment workshops for many years.  Teachers and students develop the capacity to trust their instincts and to follow their intuition.  Come learn about healing space, creating softness and ease and allowing the students to feel the healing intentions held in a loving, healing and safe space.

Our Art of Assisting Workshop is designed to provide yoga teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to give effective and empowering adjustments for their students.  Learning to assist students in a yoga class takes clear intention, complete focus, and agility of both the mind and body. Through this workshop you will learn stabilizing, corrective, and deepening full-body adjustments to help take your students to the next level of their practice.  This workshop will provide you with a deep understanding of healthy alignment and form as well as specific hands-on adjustments for both foundational  and advanced postures. You will leave this immersion with the skill set and confidence necessary to create fully empowering assists for your students in their practice. You can apply everything learned to teaching any style of yoga you may choose.

Sybil Nance, E-RYT 200, CYT 800 HR.  Sybil has been teaching yoga for almost 15 years since completing her first 200 hour Vinyasa Flow teacher training  in 1999 through YogaFit.
