New York Yoga Club
Instructor Resumes
New York Instructors
Allison Richard, BA, RYT-200. Allison first discovered
yoga as a teenager back in Michigan. After a decade of
self-study she wanted to make yoga a more integral part of her
everyday life and completed two Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher
Trainings through YogaWorks in Los Angeles, where she studied a
style of Hatha yoga that balances the safety and alignment of
Iyengar with the flow and breath connection of Ashtanga. Allison
believes in the importance of the mind, body and breath
relationship in regards to health and wellness and strives to
help students experience this connection in new and exciting
ways. She brings a lighthearted, nurturing spirit into each
class and endeavors to facilitate a playful, yet challenging
practice while encouraging students to listen and learn from
their bodies. She is constantly amazed at the intelligence of
nature and the wisdom it so graciously shares with us. |
