Holistic Yoga Therapy Institute is one of only a few yoga schools offering the 1,000 hour level yoga teacher certificate of completion. Why are we offering this certificate of completion? As many instructors graduate from a 500 Hour program they choose to continue their education often earning 1000 hours or more and we believe they deserve recognition for this advanced training. Those pursuing their 1000 Hour certificate of completion are very committed to continuing their yoga studies and process of growth and transformation, well beyond that of the average yoga teacher. While Yoga Alliance does not currently recognize a 1000 hour RYT, each of the immersions applicable towards the 1000 hour training are Yoga Alliance registered programs. Additionally, Yoga Club's Holistic Yoga Therapy Institute offers an 800 and 1000 Hour Therapeutic Yoga training program. We have submitted an application to IAYT for accreditation of our yoga therapy program, and will be able to provide information on our status after IAYT completes its review process. Please note that Holistic Yoga Therapy Institute will recognize any 200 or 500 Hour Yoga Alliance Registered Certificate of Completion already earned as applicable towards your 1,000 Hour Certificate of Completion. As such, if you are already a 500 Hour teacher, you may choose to simply pursue the additional 500 hours through Yoga Club to receive your 1,000 Hour Certificate of Completion. However, if you are pursuing your Therapeutic Yoga Certificate of Completion at the 1000 hour level, all of the additional 800 Hours towards your Therapeutic Yoga training must be taken with Yoga Club to qualify for Yoga Alliance Registration. |
